New Movie Alert: Royal Arts Academy and Nollywood Workshop's 'Code of Silence'

Royal Arts Academy movie in conjunction with Nollywood Workshop premieres the movie 'Code of Silence'  today in Cinema.
Produced and directed by Emem Isong, story and screenplay by Bola Aduwo, it stars Ini Edo, Patience Ozorkwor, Desmond Elliot, Omoni Oboli, Amaechi Muonagor, Shawn Faqua and Makida Moka.
'Code of Silence' is about a young girl Adanma who was ganged raped by two men on her way home from school and left for dead. The movie explores the psychological battle she goes through as her family refuses to report the incident to the police.
The movie premieres in cinemas today the 7th of August, make it a date to go see it

The Derwin First Shot Initiative releases the trailer for the first movie 'Mrs and Mrs Johnson'.
The DFSI is an NGO set up to give young men and women their first shot at shooting their first feature films by providing the funding required for it.
Alexandra Kura'ave Hul has produced two short films that did very well in film festivals, she is the lucky first beneficial of the Derwin First Shot Initiative, she directed her first feature film 'Mrs & Mrs Johnson.
Produced by Grace Edwin Okon (The initiator of The Derwin First Shot Initiative), Directed by Alexandra Hul, it stars Kiki Omeili, Lord Frank, Tunbosun Aiyedehin, Beverly Osu, Kunle Oluwaremi, e.t.c
'Mrs & Mrs Johnson' is an urban drama with a slight comic hues, which journeys through the rude awakening that shakes the world of two women both names Mrs. Johnson, under a very unusual circumstance.

Meet Michael Uchegbu an Actor whose Flexibility, Versatility and Dexterity of the Art is second to none

Michael Uchegbu is an Actor, Broadcaster, Voice over Artiste and Aspiring Director. He holds a Masters degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos and a B.SC in Political Science from Caritas University Enugu and a Certificate in Directing and Filmmaking from Delyork and a Certificate in Acting from PEFTI.

His professional acting career kicked off in 2009 when he had his acting debut in Wale Adenuga Production's sitcom 'Papa Ajasco'. The ride wasn't a smooth one and that was when he joined the Broadcast media as a Newscaster and Reporter with Galaxy TV from 2009 - 2011. He bounced back into acting in 2012 when he landed a lead role in  Ugo Maduka's 'Four Crooks and a Rookie' the movie got him a lot of international recognition and numerous fans following the release on Iroko TV in December 2013, after that he featured in MNET sitcom 'The Johnsons'. He has since been acting full time and has featured in several movies and TV Series like: Nectar, When you Die, Finishing Strong, Desperate housewives Africa, Tales of Eve 5, Taste of love, Heartbreaker, Ruse, How to be Lola's husband, Thirties (30), The Prodigal, So Wrong So Wright, Freezing Point, e.t.c.

Micheal says his inspiration was born out of passion for the art, he admired and closely observed a lot of foreign actors and developed full interest in pursuing it as a career and he knew he had the talent due to the remarks he gets while acting in Church programs, University competitions, e.t.c

Micheal believes he stands out because of his stature, body language, his voice, easy adaptability skills, his manner of role interpretation, his versatility and dexterity.

He loves to watch movies, studying acting notes, voicing and playing basketball.

'Kuti's Studio' is a story based on job in satisfaction and career discipline of a studio producer played by Adeniyi Johnson, who aspires to become an Oil and Gas CEO but life gave him no such choice than a music producer with numerous crazy customers.

Seeing Betrayal is a short film about a wife's action as a result of her husband's negligence and her lover's reaction to their threatened affair. The trio's reaction to this cataclysmic scenario forces out a part of them that they can't fathom.

New TV Series Trailer Alert: Kunle Afolayan's 'Eko Law'

Kunle Afolayan releases the trailer of the his new TV series 'Eko Law'. The series is an initiative of the Nigeria Law School, Lagos campus, and the creative idea came from the current DDG Mrs Toun Adebiyi. Directed by Kunle Afolayan, it stars Chief Lere Paimo, Bimbo Manuel, Carol King, Yemi Sodium, Shaffy, Monalisa Chinda, Ronke Osodi Oke, Kiki Omeili, and  host of the fantastic actors.
Eko Law is a television drama series that is centered around a law firm in Lagos, and follows the professional and personal lives of the fictional law firm's personnel juxtaposed against the stories which the various legal cases throw up in each episode. The essence of the series is to enlighten people on their legal rights and also to illustrate the difference between the laws of Lagos/Nigeria and the laws of other countries around the world.
The production is a partnership between the Law school Lagos, Golden Effects Pictures and Mrs. Bolanle Austen-Peters's BAP Production.
This teaser/trailer is simply to give people a few ideas on what to expect.
