The organisers of In-Short Film Festival calls for 2016 Entries
The organisers of the International Short Film Festival, In-Short, calls for entries for their 6th edition scheduled to hold on the 15th to 17th of December 2016 at Four Point by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Entries are invited from producers and owners of rights to both fictional short films and documentaries from around the world. The films, which should not be longer than 30 minutes in length, could also be experimental or student short films.

8 Nollywood set to shine at this year Toronto International Film Festival
This year has been a very memorable year for the Nigerian Movie Industry, Nollywood and the organisers of the Toronto International Film Festival chose Lagos for its 'City to City' Spotlight, 8 Nigerian movies were selected to premiere at TIFF this year, the festival is scheduled to hold between the 8th to 18th of September 2016.

The organisers of one of the most prestigious awards in Africa, the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) are calling for entries for the 2017 edition.

New Trailer Alert: Joshua Enakarhire's 'Beautiful Escape'
Mogson Productions releases the trailer for the movie 'Beautiful Escape', the movie is directed by Joshua Enakarhire, it stars Paul Adams, Judith Audu, Kunle Fawole, Ify Brown Monye, Constance Owoyemi, Mawuyo Ogun and a host of other fantastic actors.
BEAUTIFUL ESCAPE tells the story of a Naval Captain Timothy (Paul Adams) who went emotionally numb after the tragic loss of his wife; he cuts away from his extended family for about 10 years, but when his favourite niece and God daughter (Kiki) is about to wed he chooses to come back home, just for the wedding. Nina (Judith Audu) in a bit to help Timothy, overcome his attachment with his late wife, she falls in love with him, and the dynamics of their lives sooner than you know it brings them closer...Maybe closer than they ever bargained for, but Timothy comes face to face with all of the fears guilt that has made him loathe the word 'love' in exchange for the Beautiful Escape.

Child rape is in the increase in Africa. Like the case of Ese i heard the man who raped her was realeased from the police custody to go live his life. while little Ese suffer the trauma of an abused child, take a deep consideration what happens to this children afterwards.
Let us all support the fight against rape, child abuse, child molestation and child labour. Don't turn your face away from this because its happening around you, ask questions, report offenders. Every child deserves a better life.

Meet Adebukola Oladipupo a Young Actor ready to explore her Talent
Adebukola Oladipupo is a young Nigerian Female Actor, she hails from Ogun State and has a B.SC in Management information System from Covenant University, Ota.
Bukky's got the inspiration to start acting when she was in her 200 level in School and her Student Council asked what she wanted to do with her life, it made her rethink and she prayed to find her right path in life as she knew she was born for something great, she believes she has more to offer the world, she was born to touch lives and make a difference in people's life and then she realised she does have a passion for acting and she started doing what she loves.
She started acting professionally in 2015 when she got a role in MTV Shuga Nigeria Season 4, and has since been part of ; Indigo Season 1, HOH Season 1, Inevitable, Off all days, Suitors, The other me, ITAN, Altine's Wrath, Perception, e.t.c
She wants to use her acting to make a difference life, to send strong messages to the world, to touch lives, make people better, inspire people to keep pushing and knowing that they can be whatever and whoever it is they want.
Bukola believes she stands out because she has the ability to interpret roles fast and own it, she gets her lines fast and can easily manipulate her emotions. She says she is spontaneous and contagious.
