Chris Brown would be performing life in Lagos tonight, 22nd of December 2012 at the Expo hall, Eko hotel and Suite, Victoria Island Lagos along side Tiwa Savage, Naeto CBurna boy, Ajebutter, and a host of others. Run and get a ticket now if you haven't done so already.

The Calabar Festival, a lot of people are regular to this most anticipated show every end of the year, and people always come back home talking about how awesome the Festival was...This year Akon would be performing along side a long list of both Local and International Artist. It kicked off November 30th and would continue till the end of the year.

Rhythm Unplugged has never failed to impressed everyone that goes to see it and its even promises to be bigger this year with a very long list of Comedians and Musicians to perform on the 23rd of December 2012 at the Expo Hall, Eko Hotel and Suites. Lagos.

On the 24th of December 2012, Music meets Runway would be taken place at the Eko Hotel and Suite. A fashion event that brings Artiste and Designers all on one runway.

On Christmas day, December 25th 2012. Cool FM Praise Jam would be taken place at the Expo Hall, Eko Hotel and Suite. With a line up of seasoned gospel artists and comedians.

I believe Christmas like every other festive season should be a time to show and share love with the less privileged, the motherless babies at the orphanages e.t.c.
So get shopping and share with the less privileged, food stuff, old cloths, shoes and books your kids dont use anymore, put a smile on their beautiful faces and their heavenly father will for sure make you smile too...

AFDF President Mykel Parish at the 35th Cairo International Film Festival

Mykel Parish the President of African Film Development Foundation represented Nigeria and was a speaker in the recently concluded 35th Cairo International Film Festival that held in Egypt on the 29th of November 2012. The theme was "African Cinema as a Medium of Political, Social and Cultural Emancipation and its Role in Improving Africa's Image". The panel was headed by The Minister of Culture. Dr. Saber Arab and managed by Ambassador Mona Omar Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for African Affairs and African Union. The event had 6 speakers and two were from Nigeria Mykel Parish, President, African Film Development Foundation  and Newton Aduaka, an internationaly acclaimed director and producer, He was the producer of the international award winning movie EZRA. Also present was the South African Ambassador to Egypt, Zambian Ambassador, Obi Emelonye, the Director of the movie Last Flight to Abuja, Justine Akinson Director of Aya Distribution and lots of film makers from all over the world, Africa, Hollywood, Europe, Canada, Asia e.t.c. A lot of issues affecting the African Movie industry and how it can be moved forward was discussed , and also Nollywood and the Film maker experience.
