It was a night of glamour, fashion and creative talents as 30 beautiful models who were later screened to 15 competed for the prestigious crown of the AfrikQueen Supermodel International.
Delightful, ever smiling, brilliant and intelligent Miss Dike, a graduate of Computer Science from the Lead City University, Ibadan who featured in 'So-Journer Truth' stole the night with her scintillating performance and control on the runway at thr contest pre-final show that took place on the 8th of December 2013 at the Ikeja Central Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.
Missing out very closely in a tight contest for the grand prize of an official car, a $1000 cash prize and a shot at becoming an African Change Ambassador
are the first runner-ups, Miss Theresa Umek who emerged as AfrikQueen Tourism International and 2nd runner-up, Miss Amby Okpara who emerged AfrikQueen Talents International. The trio is billed to represent Nigeria and Africa at International contests across Europe and Asia this year 2014.
Over the years, AfrikQueen International Supermodel Contest, a brainchild of Sensational Bliss has attained prestigious status as an annual international fashion and beauty event that brings together elegant young beautiful ladies between the ages of 18 an 26 years from various cultures across Africa to celebrate not just the essence of Africa and black womanhood, but also to drive the kind of socio-cultural re-orientation and positive changes.
Like the likes of Agbani Darego, whose beauty, charm and intelligence put Nigeria on the world map of beauty queens, Miss Sophia Dike looks set to get audiences on the world stage clamoring to see more of her Godly charm, just the way she left an eruption of applause with ever appearance she made at the glamorously lit runway of the Ikeja Central Hotel, Lagos.
JAB says a big Congratulations to the new beautiful and intelligent Queen and prays her reign will be a successful one both to her and the organization...
