Meet Debbie Ohiri a born Performer and Multi-Talented Young Lady

Multitalented Deborah 'Debbie' Ohiri born by a Ghanaian Mother and a Nigerian Father. She is a Singer, Actor, Folk Music/Theatre Consultant, CEO Cubot Entertainment and Cubot Collections. She is an Environmental Studies & Resources Management Under-graduate at the National Open University (NOUN).
Debbie's love for Music & Arts can be said to have spawned from her father's genes, Her father was a 'Guitar Maestro' Bob Ohiri, he introduced Tenor Guitar to Juju Music and was also King Sunny Ade's 1st Tenor Guitarist.


She started from the Church Choir to a folk singing group where she was a prominent member for 5years. Debbie has worked with so many notable directors like : Ben Tomoloju, Muyiwa Oshinnaike, Femi Elufowoju, jar, Makinde Adeniran, Segun Adefila, Ijodee, Kenneth Uphopho, Micheal Asuelime, Ifeoma Fafunwa, Wole Oguntokun, and a host of others. She has featured in so many Stage plays like: Saro, Ajai, Oya, HEARWORD, Rubiewe, London life Lagos living, Theatre @ Terra, The Secret life of Baba Segi's Wives, e.t.c She has also done a few Screen roles for Ndani TV's Officer Titus 'Busted ' Ep 3, Knocking on Heaven's Door, e.t.c.
Her rich & sonorous Voice paved way for  her to work and grace the stage with music Legends like Tony Allen, Orlando Julius Ekemode, Omawunmi, Ejay Blackmagic & Seyi Solagbade. She was also top 18 Finalist at the Mtn Project Fame West Africa 2014. Some of the works she has been part of as a solo act and credit as a Music Director includes; Ajigbe (European Tour 2012), Rubiewe, The gods are still not to blame (Film), Same Page BP Vision, To love a Ghost, e.t.c.
Her company Cubot Entertainment is an all round Entertainment Company while Cubot Collections is a fashion outfit that makes Ankara Bags, Shoes & Accessories based in Lagos, They work with their customers budget and make them happy.
Debbie is a trained decline versatile performer, honest, loveable, down to earth, hardworking ,  she is a sanguine, ready to listen, learn and be corrected, humble, respected and committed in becoming the best  and next big thing in Nigerian Music and Theatre.
Debbie says she trains on every job she is on and have also worked with acting coaches like Ifeoma Fafunwa and Kenneth Uphopho. She sings, make shoes and bags. She loves to cook, watch musical movies and read.
