New Short Film Alert: DANGEROUS HOPE

 UNHCR Nigeria collaborated with Judith Audu Productions to produce an Anti-Human Trafficking short film titled DANGEROUS HOPE. 

DANGEROUS HOPE examines human trafficking in the context of forced displacement, it sets out to educate by increasing knowledge and awareness of Human Trafficking, promote attitudinal change for potential traffickers, and empower and mobilise by making tools available that help survivors reclaim their lives. 

The movie was produced by UNHCR Nigeria, High Profile Supporter, Judith Audu, Written by Amaka Chidioka, Directed by Uyoyou Adia and Judith Audu, Cinematography by Barnabas 'Barny' Emordi, Edited by Adio Solanke, Music bby Tarrah. It Stars; Ayuketa Shedrack, Ruth Nkweti, Michael Uchegbu, Marvelous Akem, Vanisteroy Akem, Ngiim Kuko Nangah, Ashu Mirrielle.

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) have collaborated and have launched the short film 'DANGEROUS HHOPE' as a part of thhe ongoing efforts to create awareness on the risks of human trafficking and galvanise stakeholders to take actions that will cumulatively enhance the protection environment for the affented groups in the community.

Uyoyou Adia's L.I.F.E. is now Streaming on Amazon Prime Video

One of Nigeria's most anticipated 2024 movie releases L.I.F.E. is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. 

Frrom the stables of Judith Audu Productions, produced by Judith Audu , written and directed by Uyoyou Adia and Director of photography Toyin Odukoya 'Teecam'.

 The movie stars Omowunmi Dada, Efe Irele, Paul Ephraim ;JayPaul', Debo Adedayo ' Mr Macaroni, Olarotimi Fakunle, Eso Dike, Kate Adepegba and Mena Sodje. 

Synopsis: LI.F.E. follows the story of Ema (Omowunmi Dada) who believes she is meant to be a dancer, a childhood dream she hass always nursed, despite having a thriving career in advertising, sshe fuels the thought of becoming a dancer. Yinka (Efe Irele) on the other hand is a very passionate dancer who is down on her luck. She believes she chose the wrong career path a she can barely get by in life.

Both individuals desire each other's lives and, in an unexpected turn of events they have their wishes granted by a mysterious personality. They get to live each other's lives for 24 hours on the most important of of their careers. Will they want their lives back or will they want to maintain this new L.I.F.E.

The movie was nominated as Best Nigerian film at the Africa Movie Academy Awards 2023 and Best Sound Track at the Africa Movie Viewers Choice Awards 2023. 

The movie is distributed by Cinemax distribution and it is now streaming on Amazon prime Globally
