Iyke is fondly called 'Intelligent Iyke'. He started acting from church when he was very tender and young, as a child he was taken to different churches and events to act and dance, since then he never stopped acting. Luckily for him, Entertainment runs in his family so he believes Acting Chose Him.
He started acting professionally in 2006 when he joined a theatre play house called PHAYA BAND in Kubwa, Abuja, there he had an intensive acting class with Mr.Ayo (Nollywood Policeman) and Mr. Bright Wonder Obasi, which later helped him in winning a Lead Role in a feature movie titled NATASHA produced by the theatre house. And in 2008, Iyke had his major break when he was spotted at an audition for the movie 'V.I.P' (HIGH SCHOOL) by one of Nollywood's renowned directors Pa Ndubuisi Okon DGN of blessed memory,Iyke acted alongside already established actors like Nonso Diobi, Francis Duru, Empress Njamah, e.t.c.
Iyke didn't slow down after then and has featured in several movies and tv series like: Mad About Football, When Love Dies, Broken, In Between Lines, Red Alert, The Frontier, Spider, Girls Cot (season2), Single Leaf, Away From Home (he co-produced it), Story Story, a BBC Media Action (radio drama) as TANKO, just to mention but a few.
As a Presenter, Iyke has anchored several red carpet events such as Green Day Festival in Abuja, TAE Kwando National Tournament in Abuja, the premier of Away from Home, several Weddings, e.t.c.
He has a striking complexion that makes him standout in a crowd which he considers as an edge over his colleagues, his ability to give an in-depth interpretation to any character, his delivery mode and versatility as a creative actor makes him thick and unique. He is an unpredictable, outstanding, and wonderful actor. He is very focused, friendly, fun loving, humble, respectful and says he is allergic to proud and heady people. He loves to watch movies, read movie scripts and novels, swim, play football. He says he has a deep love for nature.
Iyke says the Hollywood actor Will Smith has a great influence on him, he loves his personality and the way he interpret scripts and will feel he is fulfilled as a actor the day he acts alongside his mentor and role model WILL SMITH.
