Trapped is a film aimed at informing and educating the women in our society to voice out against Domestic Violence in our society. The story was written by Amina Atairu and Directed by Saheed Apanpa, Produced by Apanpa Pictures and Styletinni Productions with the core objective of educating women on the consequences of decisions that could change their lives while at the same time teaching that voicing out about the violence they are facing can put them in the position to be helped.
The producers said they were inspired by their passion to give back to the community
and their desire to foster an awareness of domestic violence that kills millions of women every year. The movie is dedicated to women who have faced this issue in the past or still facing it and they plan to use the opportunity to drive awareness within Schools and major Universities.
