She said she has always wanted to be an actor and to an extent got inspired by the Amata's and Eucharia Anunobi whom she loves her acting a lot. She accompanied her elder sister to a movie set when she was 12 and she believed that was when it clicked, she wanted to be there and wished she was acting with them and since then she knew that was where she belonged.
Her passion for acting grew stronger and stronger over the years that it even made her disobey her father who wanted her to study Medicine in school.
She started acting professionally since 2011 and she hasn't looked back since, she has since featured on stage, TV and Movies, some of which includes: Woe unto Death, Human Cargo, Tinsel, Obatala, Anita, 11am, Stereotype, Drift Beyond Conscience, e.t.c.
She says her best feature is her voice and the fact that she is very emotional that it makes it easy for her to fall into character.
Joy is bold, hardworking, beautiful in and out, but most of all honest to a fault. She intend to train herself in directing in a couple of years to come. Her role model is Angela Bassett, she is strong woman, she wants to be a part of history 'Why Nollywood got better' because she sees a great Nollywood ahead.
She loves to swim, sing, write, and watching cartoon.
