R.U.N.S is a Benedict Alli and Samantha Iwowo docudrama, produced in collaboration with Lilian Amah-Aluko with this purpose:
To address the menace of veiled prostitution in Nigeria tertiary institutions, its precipitating causes and possible endearing solutions.
The docudrama is the art form through which they seek to enlighten Nigerian publics, about the devastating effects of R.U.N.S, which in reality is the Ruining and Undermining of Nigerians Students. It features Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, Stephanie Okereke-Linue, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi and Iretiola Doyle. Interview respondents include; former Deputy Governor Lagos State, Hon. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Soni Irabor, Onyeka Onwenu, Denrele Edun and Adesuwa Onyenokwe.
The November 2015 screening of this project will be the maiden edition. Subsequently, through docudramas produced annually and screened around Nigeria universities, they plan to strategically maintain conversations around this issue with a vision to reorienting the young Nigerian youths. The objective of these screenings includes; giving a broad awareness of the prostitution syndrome, its life threatening risks, but more importantly to point out practical alternatives to success, which do not debase human dignity.
The mind-blowing, controversial and deeply interactive, R.U.N.S teaches young women to equip their minds and self-wills, early enough to set their standards above choices, which smear the dignity of womanhood.
