She attended her very first acting audition and it was for Mnet's Pan-African television series Tinsel, she landed the role of Peju who is a very nosey journalist and talk show host, she was part of a short film by Kemi Adesoye in collaboration with Goethe Institute. She began doing stage performances that same year under a Theatre production company called The Renegade Theatre where she has been part of several plays like : Wole Soyinka's Camwood on the Leaves and The Strong Breed, Wole Oguntokun's Ajai the Boy Slave, The Waiting Room and Who is Afraid of Wole Soyinka, Ntozake Shanges For Coloured Girls who have Considered Suicide when the Rainbow is Enough, just to mention but a few...
Jumoke is an extremely friendly lady, down-to-earth, an excellent actress and always ready blow the mind of her audience with her raw, undiluted and impeccable acting skills. She is always ready to take on new challenges and learn more on how to improve and become a better Actor.
I have had the priviledge to meet her in person after her performance in For Coloured Girls in Lagos. She has this contagious energy about her. I believe she is going places. Keep up the good work jumoke.

DeleteI met her at an eatery but prior to that, I knew nothing about her. To now realize that she is a public personality immediately draws attention to the power of her simplicity which is simply admirable. Thanks for attempting to help with the problematic milk Jumoke!!!
